I offer deeply compassionate client-centered services . I am trained in the evidence-based models of Psychodynamic, ACT, CBT, and Narrative therapy as well as the Creative Arts Therapies, with an expertise in Drama Therapy. I interweave these modalities to best suit my client’s needs. My therapy approach goes beyond talk therapy, to also be embodied, creatively expressive, and somatically based. In this way emotions, memories, and presenting issues are explored and processed not only with words but with movement, metaphors, play, and body relaxation techniques.
I believe greatly in creating a safe space throughout the therapy journey and bring a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach to my sessions. I am passionate about neurodiversity, disability visibility and being an ally in every shape and form.
I am a registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, as well as a registered Drama Therapist (P) with the North American Drama Therapy Association. I hold a Master's in Creative Arts Therapies: Drama Therapy from Concordia University.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a professional actress and somatic therapeutic practitioner for 12 years. I bring these creative skills and an extensive knowledge of the human body and nervous system into my practice.
